The gardens weren't as informative as we had wished. It also needs a lot of maintenance work so I really hope they get some kind of funding as it would be a shame if the gardens became more disheveled.

I think if you do not have a guide or tours then the garden is highly over priced, but then they have to make their money somewhere.

The cake in the cafe is delightful. It's a lovely little place to sit down and work, it's a bit too quiet to be able to talk in there though.

There are some very pretty sights with in the garden and some very interesting sings such as the canoe exhibit and an original shack in great condition to look around.

We attended a wedding reception in this beautiful setting just off the highway near Tofino on the long weekend in August. The weather was pleasantly warm and refreshing while we walked amongst the creative carved art and carefully cultivated gardens and flowers.

It was a quiet respite from the hectic activity of the wedding ceremony we attended.
This is worth visiting if you are a gardener and those interested in west coast carvings.
I would recommend about an hour at least to see the majority of the gardens.

We enjoyed "exploring" on the self guided walk. Lots of interesting features, appreciated having markers on some trees to identify their species.

We recognize that the garden and forest walk are maintained by volunteers but still felt some upgrades would be appreciated by visitors.
Nice cafe to relax and nibble at.

Not worth the money and visit.
Less then sub par.
Didn't check out the cafe so no comment to that.
The garden was small and there was not much going on.
The art that was around on the trails was boring and didn't make much sense, nothing to explain the art, Poles with barrels on it? Things felt super imposed unkept and little to the imagination.
I was looking forward to the pocket gardens but there was nothing in regards to that or if there was it didn't stand out as a highlight.
Only highlight there was a slug on a mushroom and the chickens.

We enjoyed our walk through this network of paths and boardwalks in the gardens and forest. The sun was there and with the map and explanations we learned about the grounds. After the walk we enjoyed out Espresso and Cappuciono in the Darwins Café.

Had an hour to fill in during our visit to Tofino so called into the Botanical Gardens. An interesting collection of walks and vegetation interspersed with unusul statues and other features.

So many interesting plants and art. The views were spectacular. Well worth making the time to see it.

We would have liked to know the names of more of the plants. Also we wondered about the artist and title of some of the installations and would appreciate titles.

Such a lovely, peaceful gem of a place, with food and medicine gardens and lovely trails that lead to the spectacular mud flats. We will definitely come again!

Really liked the way this is set out. We spent a few hours exploring the gardens and views using the map. The various artworks add to the interest as did the info boards around the gardens. Very peaceful.

It was nice that we could bring our well behaved dog around the property. I think for the price they could maintained the boardwalks and some of the structures better. Was a fun stop for the kids though. Go on your first day because your pass is good for I think 3 days and they had lights around so assume they were open in the dark which would actually be pretty fun.
