It's a bit tricky to find, but worth every step. Tide in, or tide out... a fascinating place. A photographer's delight.

“Beautiful, secluded sand beach”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

Walked here yesterday with our 5 yr old daughter. Trail was easy to navigate, but does have some steeper grades for those with walking difficulties.
Beach was fine sand, large, and had some (sharp and barnacle covered) rocks to climb round to see some tide pools and marine life. Water is predictably cold.
Absolutely stunning scenery.
Use the porta-potty at the trailhead as there are no facilities.

“Private Beach”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

Maybe just the locals know about this park, but it's a treasure! Once we walked along the fun boardwalk through the woods, it opened up to a fantastic beach!

“Hidden Gem in Tofino”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

We were told about this beach by one of the locals. The trail to the beach is very pleasant - lovely forest and a boardwalk to the beach. The terrain is a bit steep - not wheelchair accessible without assistance.

This is a fun place with rocky areas, great places to sit and watch people, wildlife boats, etc.. Very gentle surf at lower tide.

Private homes above the beach area - no restrooms at beach level.
