Owner description: Rainforest Trail has two routes, A & B, both of which fully engulf you in the temperate rainforest full of gigantic western red cedars and western hemlocks. Sparking a sensation of zen, you will be overcome with the nostalgia of your childhood memories, ready to make more. Scan the upper canopy for birds, listen to the trickle of water and smell the life of this highly productive forest. Trail A is located on the opposite side of the highway from the parking lot. Trail B starts from the parking lot.

Well worth a visit to see the gigantic western red cedar trees and experience the wild feel of walking through prime temperate rain forest on the boardwalks provided.

Went here today with our boys, 9yrs & 6yrs old. We enjoyed the walk around the rainforest. Was great to get out & stretch the legs.

There are two trails, each 1km long with a boardwalk. It was interesting, though not something I'd repeat.

I was expecting to walk around the forest floor for the hike. Shows how little I know about the rain forest. If you could actually find your way around on the ground, it would take days to cover the area you can cover on the elevated wooden walk way.

It's an easy walk. It's beautiful and well worth the entrance fee. Bring a credit card the machine doesn't take cash.

The two trails are amazing. Make sure you visit both trails. The two areas are slightly different but both have quite a large number of stairs and the wood of the boardwalk can be somewhat slippery. But the reward for venturing here is seeing some beautiful old forests.
