Some beautiful, informative, well maintained walking trails. Found parking to be a little tight in busy periods and electronic pay ticket stations were finicky. But well worth visiting

This is one of the greatest places in Canada. I love visiting here, though I seldom do.

I have a few minor suggestions for improvements for the Green Point campground, and the Park in general. In the campground, if replacing firepits, please consider a better design. The grates block the view of the flames, which is point of a fire for many folks.
Combers Beach . . . please erect a sign on the main beach trail to tell us what that little dark boardwalk leads toward.
Bathroom urinals waste tons of water.
Showers and sink faucets are way TOO HOT. Could be dangerous.
There are 5 HOOKS in the showers, hoooray, but none beside the sinks. Or too few.
Bathroom sinks are too HIGH for kids, and considering it is a new design, you should have put a rim in the counter to stop the water from dripping all over. Or slightly tilt them. They get a lot of use!
Bog Trail . . . terrible signage.

Anyway, considering the paradise that this park includes . . . these are minor quibbles.

If you visit Tofino, your trip isn't complete without a hike along the trails of the Pacific Rim park.

There is so much to see in this park. Many walking/hiking paths for all abilities. All offering great views. A lot a variation. Not just beaches. We changed our plans and spent an extra day here.

The title says it all, the Pacific Rim is an incredible and varied drive. It makes the driver jealous that they can't constantly be looking out the window, so luckily I was a front seat passenger! Keep your camera at the ready.

If you are into beach walking, this is the place to go. Within the park there are numerous beaches and trails to explore. My favourite beaches are Combers Beach (my absolute favorite), Wickinnish Beach, Long Beach and Florenzia Bay. Make sure you are aware of the tides daily as you could get caught in a sticky situation and rogue waves can hit at anytime. I usually check in at the Park Warden station to get the lowdown and a Park pas and there is a free weekly publication which has the daily tide schedule. You can also buy passes at most of the beaches.

The beaches are fabulous! But bear in mind, there is no boondocking places. The nearest is prior to the T intersection.
