The experience we had at the hotel and town was amazing. Free bikes to ride into town, whale watching and walking on the beach. Very private and cozy with dvds to watch in your room and cd's in your room to listen to on the incredible Bose system.

Room Tip: Pick the rooms facing west on the 3rd floor. Amazing view of crashing waves and the sun setting.

It's expensive, but if you can get over that, you'll love it. Staff is fantastic. They are personable, helpful, just wonderful. There is absolutely nothing I could imagine that they did not anticipate and provide, on their own initiative. Location and view over the ocean are unbelievable. Their restaurant, The Pointe, is a bit too sophisticated for my tastes, especially in that setting, and a bit too expensive. But there are WONDERFUL alternatives in the town of Tofino.

Room Tip: There are two buildings: Ocean View and The Point. If you can afford it, The Point offers incredib...

Travelling with my job over the course of the year grants me the opportunity to experience a handful of swish hotels, but I can honestly say that the Wickinninish Inn is the highlight of any travel experience -- be it personal or professional. This time around, I stayed in the Chesterman Loft Suite. It did not disappoint. Warm woods, high ceilings, tons of natural light (including a sky light in the master bedroom), that amazing bathroom with the soaker tub and stone shower, a full kitchen (with dishwasher), and a bird’s eye view to the beach -- all made for a stellar weekend.

The staff goes out of their way to welcome guests. The first night there, the hotel hosted a reception for guests (a weekly occurrence I’m told) in the Driftwood Lounge. Sipping BC Blue Mountain Sparkling and enjoying tasty canapés – along with the chance to chat with the Wick’s dedicated team AND other guests -- was a wonderful way to kick off the visit.

The next day, we took part in a complimentary (and educating) nature walk through the rainforest that surrounds the Inn. Lead by the charming Jens, the group was privy to locals-know secrets of the rainforest – highly recommend this activity! And the scenery is stunning.

Also enjoyed dining at the Wick’s Pointe Restaurant. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive – a consummate professional. As for the food? House-made bread anyone? With hand-churned butter? We enjoyed the first asparagus of the season with fresh seafood and it was incredible.

Also got to scope out the freshly renovated rooms in the Pointe Building -- the team has made every effort to ensure their guests are wrapped in ultimate comfort and luxury. They’ve nailed it. Bravo, Wick! I can’t wait to come back.

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms here. Trust!

What a enjoyable dining experience, great food, nice staff, perfect views. Service is not the fastest but you are there for the view, whatever food is beng served, you will know that it is fresh and good quality. Enjoy, enjoy and enjoy. The dessert is the best. The hotel is average, would expect more for what you are paying, a little over-priced.

Room Tip: Request a room with a room of the water, be prepared to pay top dollar.

If there's a heaven must be a lot like this! Stayed here after travelling on mainland and through Rockies with a fairly hectic schedule and this is the perfect place to chill. Welcome was warm, accommodation luxurious and they have thought of everything, from the chilled out music in the corridors, to storm watching waterproof gear, binoculars and torches! Room was in the Pointe building with views over the rocks and exceptional high spec bathroom. Taroub made sure we had a room that had a wonderful, uninterrupted view and his personal assistance was much appreciated after the 4 hour drive.
We have eaten in restaurants throughout the world including Michelin starred premises, the food here is some of the best we have had with consistently first class presentation - even at breakfast! The Wick is the result of a cherished family dream and it shows in every detail, nothing has been overlooked, service is casual but exceptional and this is possibly one of the most wonderful hotels in the world to stay, never mind the stunning natural setting! Book it!!

Room Tip: Request a room on the upper floor, ground and 1st floor rooms have same spec but views can be obscur...

Really nice hotel, service is great and the staff is awesome...one of the coolest things about this place is that the staff will actually bring fire wood to the beach for you and help you set up a beach fire.. easy to access the surf. Comes at a price but if you can afford it, it is worth it in my opinion,,, Tofino is amazing!!!
