We stayed in Tofino for 4 nights. As we had booked late, we were only able to book a room at the main house for one night, for the other 3 nights we stayed at the Red Crow's self-catering cottage.
The room we had for the first night was called The Sanctuary. This was an upstairs room so we did not have a balcony or direct access from our room to the waterfront, but we did have the most amazing view across the water. The room was huge, with large windows on 3 sides and possibly the largest and most luxurious bed I have ever slept in! The bathroom was also huge, with a bath easily big enough for 2 people, and a separate shower. Breakfast was lovely (fresh croissants, fruit, muffins, yogurt) and was served in our room so we were able to eat at our table by the window admiring the view.
The cottage did not have sea views, but was very charming in its own way. It is set in the garden and not overlooked by the main house so we had plenty of privacy inside and outside the cottage. The cottage did not look much from the outside, but inside it was decorated very tastefully and we loved it. There was a lot of space for 2 people (it sleeps at least 4). It was quaint and cosy. As we were unable to find many restaurants in Tofino that catered for vegetarians, it was helpful to be able to cook our own meals, and we enjoyed a couple of evenings at the cottage, relaxing in front of the log burner.
