Owner description: Long Beach, the longest beach of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, spans an extraordinary 16km (10mi) along the west coast of Vancouver Island. Described by locals to be magical, you will be astonished by the amount of life that call the tidal pools home. You will be sure to find crabs, shells, starfish, sea urchins and much more. As the surf comes crashing in, you will find surfers from around the world carving through the peaks of the waves. As the water settles, it gracefully rides up the beach with peaceful trickles and shimmering light from the breathtaking sunset crossing the colourful horizon. Long Beach is truly a rejunivating getaway for all ages. Whether you're looking to kickback, explore, adventure, hike, surf, or just take one of those long walks on the beach, Long Beach has it all.

Sand, sea, breeze. Seagulls, surfboards and salt. Shells and seaweed. It's all there on LongBeach. Enjoy.

It's a LONG beach, alright! And it's gorgeous! There is so much to see and do here. Surfers in the ocean, walking the length of the beach, playing the soft sand and taking in the gorgeous sunsets on clear evenings.

Probably the best seaside beach I've ever been to. Living in the Maritimes there are wonderful ocean beaches but Long Beach was amazing! The sand was like icing sugar, the beach was super clean, the little wind breaks made of driftwood were dotted along the beach, and watching the surfers was so much fun. Swimming in the waves topped it all off. I would go back in a minute. It would be great to go during storm season as well - I hear the waves are wild!

Long Beach is a must for those traveling to Tofino. Very cool lean-tos adorning sections of the beach for shelter from the winds so one may enjoy warmth and picnic for the day.

Awesome beach! Great place where to chill out for a couple of hours on your way to Tofino. The atmosphere was surreal. If it is sunny and warm enough I would reccomend to go there early in the morning, you will see a nice fog all along the beach. In order to reach the beach you have to enter the pacific rim national park and there is a fee to pay; we were 3 people in a car and payed 19$. Worth the price.
