“Wonderful experience!”
Reviewed July 26, 2013

6 of us had a great meal here! Place is tiny but kitchen turns out excellent food, tho portions are enormous. I had some of the best mussels I've ever had here, which is saying something! Husband's pasta was great and our friend's halibut fabulous!

“Great pasta and generous servings”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

chef-owner is very accessible and easy to speak with regarding his cuisine. Try the meatball sandwich-although you will never be able to pick it up-great and rich red sauce. Went back for brunch the next day; the crab cake was delicious, but there was only one served with lots of Salt Spring Greens; would have liked another to complete the meal.

“Terrible Service”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

Sadly, I can't recommend this restaurant. The service was terrible; no one was being waited on, our food-ordering experience was horrible, and we ended walking out without ever receiving anything to eat. The menu looked nice and the location was great, but do not eat here. There are many great places nearby that are well worth the visit.

“A great reason to go to Salt Spring island!”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

We love a get-away to Salt spring, and one of the reasons is Auntie Pesto's restaurant! It consistently serves up a gourmet meal! You must try the vegetarian Swiss chard and ricotta lasagna! I take it every time, and then try to copy the dish at home all year! It is a huge portion, and every mouthful is as good as the last! The little deck s a perfect location to a wonderful summer dinner!

“Every visit just as good as the last”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

Or even better. Wonderful service: owner-operated and you can tell. The mussels were perfection. Don't know what to recommend except what we had: duck confit with gorgonzola and pear ravioli (is your mouth watering yet?) and the saganaki flambe that we shared. Oh, and it has a view and is on the waterfront in the village of Ganges. A bonus
