“Dreadful”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2012

Service at its lowest! We had to wait 45 minutes after our order to get our plates. When it arrived (and also a couple of minutes before) we indicated to the manager of the place that we felt it was a bit long, the only answer we got is that "this is a restaurant, some dishes need time to be prepared". No apologies! We tried to explain our position, but the answers we got were getting even worse and rude. We did not know that spaghetti and salmon where particularly long to prepare (apparently they are in this restaurant... The manager never came back to see us afterwards and just sent another person... The dishes were ok (salmon) or very heavy (sea food spaghettis).

“Fresh and Very Tasty”

Our appetizers and main course was fresh and beautifully plated. Prices were fair and the wine was local. Large portions. Great choice if you want to get the local vibe.

“Very average all around. Too pricey though.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2012

Food was decent. Appetizer was good enough, but not memorable. The pasta was a little dry and uninspiring. Service was somewhat impersonal, but still fine. Price was high. Meh.

Great view and service. The chef was picked to prepare meals for the Canadian Olympic team in London.

“Don't have the halibut!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 15, 2012

Our experience at this restaurant was different than our previous experiences. Although the food was delicious, the portion size for the halibut was one third the size of the other dishes on the entrée list. After just a few mouthfuls we were finished and still fairly hungry. Ironically at $30 this was one of the most expensive items on the menu. Little explanation given, just that halibut was expensive this year. We were told that others had complained, however we were offered nothing in the way of compensation. Left feeling a bit ripped off.
