“Food fine, service horrible”

The food was good. The green curry was excellent. However, we were put off by the waitress who served us, so much that i wouldn't likely return. I'm surprised there are so few reviews about poor service.

Trees growing thru the restaurant, great food, generous portions, reasonable prices and friendly staff, what more could you ask for!

“A little pricey, but a must visit for the island”
Reviewed August 11, 2014

Dropped in for a quick bite while in Ganges. We split a sandwich and no drinks, and with the tip, about $20. Probably worth it if there would have been musicians.

“wonderful place”
Reviewed August 11, 2014

great location, funky/cool and unique setting, live entertainment and great food.....a must visit on Saltspring. Expect a wait; this has become a very popular place to eat....though it was the busiest weekend of the year when we were there.

“Unpretentious, friendly staff and good food”
Reviewed August 9, 2014 via mobile

This is a wonderful, informal place, highly recommended for casual eating outdoors in the summer. A bit of a throwback to the 1960s, Treehouse is a relaxing place to chill, so to speak, and enjoy a lunch or dinner in a booth under spreading trees on a warm day in August. The salads and curries are good, so are the sandwiches, and there are a number of vegan options. The food is good for what it is, but simple and unpretentious. Four people can eat comfortably, drink wine, beer or mojitos and listen to music for the cost of an overpriced "gourmet dining experience" with wine for one person at House Piccolo. Very popular. Check the schedule, but there is usually good music in the evening. Centrally located in downtown Ganges, near the water.
