We had a terrific stay at Armand Heights Bed and Breakfast. The view from our room was like being in a dream. You are on the top of a mountain, and you can see for miles, and it is beautifully wooded and very peaceful. We were greeted by our hostess, Irina, with wonderful hospitality, and an unexpected surprise. She had two baked goods on platters. How nice after a long trip.

Each day we had a terrific breakfast, which changed daily. They were excellent and very fresh. First a bowl of fruit, followed a few minutes later by the mail course. If we needed anything Irina was right there to help, and she has a very beautiful garden, which must have taken years to complete. We also got baked goods each afternoon when we returned as well.

She also helped us with a map of Saltspring, advice about the various places we wanted to see, and there was also a lot of good information in the room itself.

Our room was her smallest, and it was quite spacious, well decorated and comfortable. I travelled a lot in business, and this was by far one of the most comfortable places I stayed. I would highly recommend it to anybody who was going to Salt Spring Island, a great place to visit.

Charming B&B in a peaceful setting with great views. Irina is a wonderful host and cooks great breakfasts. Upon checking in, you are greeted with homemade wine and cake - such a nice treat! Bed was very comfortable and we all had a relaxing sleep. Irina grows a great variety of roses in her garden, practically a feast for the eyes. Will definitely stay in this B&B again when we return to Salt Spring.

Room Tip: We stayed in the newly renovated Arbutus room and were happy with everything.

We arrived late and Irina met us with her flashlight and showed us to a lovely room with views off the balcony looking all the way across to the lights Vancouver and beyond. We were each able to relax with a glass of complimentary wine and a tasty little dessert (to die for). The perfect ending to a great day. The next morning we were presented with a lovely breakfast and lots of coffee served on our balcony while we enjoyed the views again in daylight. Sometimes a place just feels right and this was one of those times. Very clean, extremely comfortable and all things considered, a very good value. Thanks again Irina!

Wonderful views, including a snow-capped Mount Baker on the horizon and the lights of Vancouver in the night sky. It's a strange mix of garden, hotel, observatory and farm, but Irina makes it all work, providing a warm welcome, excellent breakfasts and random acts of kindness, like chocolate cakes and home-made wine. A great base for walking/climbing the rest of Mount Maxwell.

Room Tip: They all have the same view - you just pay according to the size of room and the facilities it has.

First B&B ever been to in BC, surprisingly a pleasant & lovely stay. Private entrances with your own private balcony & great views. Nice way 2 wake up sitting outdoors enjoying your tea & ending your day again out on your balcony with a glass of wine. Irina does an amazing breakfast, start with a hot coffee or soothing mint tea (grown from her garden!), juice and a fresh fruit salad, nice variety of breakfast entree selection, including pancakes, waffles, super yum eggs Benny, omlettes & more. Irina's property is so pretty with all her roses, flowers & all in such a natural setting. Bed was awesome & we are super picky with bed quality.

If you want private intimate bed & breakfast with goodservice, this is it. Close to everything, town market, restaurants, wine tours, farm sites and beaches. All good.
