“Best Cheese, EVER!”
Reviewed May 23, 2014

We visited here to sample the different cheeses and didn't realize what an amazing experience it was going to be. The lady there was very helpful and had all the cheese, olives, and jams laid out nicely. We tried every cheese on the table and they were all divine. The goats cheese was like nothing we've experienced before and I couldn't decide what I enjoyed more. You can learn more about the cheese by walking around the building, see it being made and meet the goats that produce the milk. We ended up buying some cheese and crackers (they were packed with knives and napkins) and going to a park and enjoying. This is a must visit.

“Cheese as Art”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

The cheese made here is so beautifully presented that i often give them as gifts to friends and family when there visit the island. Wish this thing would let me upload a pic so that i could show you! I like to wait until the end of market day when they sometimes have them on for two for the price of one. If you are on Salt Spring and do not sample these cheeses you are totally missing out on something special.

“The best goat cheese ever!”
Reviewed March 29, 2014

A must for anyone visiting SSI! You can see the cheese being made and sample all the products. It is all good, but my #1 favourite are the Ruckles! These tasty little morsels of goat cheese marinated in herbs and oil are irresistible!

“Great place to visit - and taste!”
Reviewed March 29, 2014

We visited in March. The hosts were more than accommodating, answering all our questions, and encouraging us to taste everything. As well as cheese, there were olives and a variety of jams to sample. We also were able to wander around the outside of the building and see the process. And we were able to go into the barns, and see the very young goats.

“Tasty experience”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

Loved the location and the owner. She had samples out of all the cheeses that they produced as well as jams, chutneys etc. Being able to taste the cheeses made it both easier and harder to choose which ones to bring home. So far everyone who has tried the different cheeses we brought home has really enjoyed them
