Food was neither here nor there but has decent wings. Not the best but if your there and you need a fix of wings then order up. Pretty good deck, could use a sand and polish to bring the inadequate wood they used back from the dead. Friendly staff, menu looks a bit confused. Not too sure if they've figured out their identity. The one bad item we orderd was the chicken souvlaki. It was the dry as heck and not enough tzatziki could get you to swallow it. It wasn't that the chicken was over cooked as it had juices still present but the lack of quality chicken and or pre-packaged on the skewer chicken from some lack luster company. Some good local beers and all the basic drinks. Good enough for me to pull over after a long hot kootenay drive for a cold one. Maybe next time.

You can't beat the 10 "free" wings with a pitcher of beer. The beer is cold, the hot wings are spectacular, and the ambiance is charming. A definite stop on the way back from Red Mountain.

We were up at Red Mountain for a week of business meetings there was not much around the ski hill (ski season not yet started) we were within walking distance of the Rock Cut pub. Our only other option was to drive back into Rossland. The food was very good and a wide variety of options to choose from. A pitcher of the special on tap beer came with a plate of wings which were excellent. One evening we just had beer and appetizers everything we tried was very good. Waitresses were all very friendly and efficient. Only down side is if you're driving and parking the windy road up to the parking lot is not at all lit and needs some work.

The Rock Cut started so well. Its food was never great but it was tolerable. It has been down hill ever since. Had great hope of the new owners but, incredibly, the food got worse. I hope it turns around some day as it is a nice facility with friendly staff.
