I chose this restaurant for lunch based on the good Tripadvisor reviews and was not disappointed. Don't be put off by the exterior. It is a restaurant attached to a fish market (on your left as you face the fish market). The place was packed for lunch on this rainy day, but we only had a short wait.
I ordered a cup of chowder ($4.95 CAD)and the halibut nuggets ($7.95 CAD). The cream based chowder was fantastic, but the nuggets were only fair. they were a bit too battered and crispy for the taste of the halibut to shine through.
The prices were quite reasonable, but the service was inattentive. I had to go and ask for the check as I could not find our waitress.
