Last Saturday a group of friends and I decided to participate in the North Pacific Cannery's Dinner Series and it was fabulous. It was three course dinner for $30 and the menu features included Sockeye salmon chowder, slow roasted chicken and the best flourless chocolate cake ever. The 2 hour seating also included live folk music by two talented young ladies. As a resident of Prince Rupert, I sometimes take for granted what our community has to offer and I was so happy to be reacquainted with the historical charm of the North Pacific Cannery. A definite must see for local and tourists.
