Was really excited about visiting this restaurant as had heard rave reviews about the Teppanyaki chefs and their food showmanship.
The reality was very disappointing.
There was really nothing entertaining about watching someone cooking on a griddle. There was no flair or showmanship. The 'japanese rain' (sesame seeds sprinkled over food under a strobe light) was very lacklustre.
The food was bland and basically piled on to the plate in a heap.
The only positives are that the steak was cooked perfectly, the wine was well priced and that due to winning a contest, the meal was free.
Am going to go back to try the sushi but as for Teppanyaki - no thanks
