OK, this is a modest little place, and like most of the restaurants on Main Street, it has seen better days. That is, the decor is tired and the furniture well-worn. Given the state of the local economy, I can understand why the owner hasn't opted to renovate. While far being from up-scale in atmosphere, it is comfortable enough to enjoy a good meal.
As for the food - I can only review the modest meal I enjoyed there today, their signature Pho Bo. (beef noodle soup)
THAT was perfect. Excellent stock, sweetened and seasoned to perfection, with a generous portion of shaved beef, and the very welcome addition of some very nice beef balls (Thit Bo Vien). The mung sprouts, lime and basil served on the side were fresh and tasty. The requisite condiments of hot pepper, hoisin, and hot sauce were all great...
