My friend and I stopped here for lunch on the advice of another vineyard's employee. We had a seat on the rooftop patio which has an amazing view of the lake and the surrounding vineyards.

I ordered the heirloom tomato and mozzarella tartine with side salad. It. Was. Amazing. The potato brioche and delicious pesto, heirloom tomatoes, arugula and melted mozzarella made for an amazing open faced sandwich. This was my best meal by far on my trip and I was exceptionally pleased to have followed the recommendation.

We didn't try any of the wine as we had been tasting most of the day but I very much enjoyed my bottle of sparkling water ($5.50 but worth it on a hot day).
The service was prompt, professional and friendly.

The view alone would make for a lovely meal but the food took it to the next level. Even if you don't try the wine you should definitely go for a meal!

We enjoyed the food, wine and atmosphere here. We also enjoyed our knowledgable waitress. However what kept our experience from being excellent was the somewhat rude greeting from staff who wouldn't seat us in a shady spot despite only a few tables in use, because there was a group booking TWO AND A HALF HOURS away. Really? How long does the average diner stay? The tone was snippy and our request for one of the umbrellas was at first ignored before our waitress stepped in. This restaurant could benefit from better customer service, however the food was quite nice. The tomato soup is excellent.

Small menu but a few nice options. Sit on the roof top patio for sure.A bit funny for wine as they charge twenty more per bottle than what you can buy it in the wine ship downstairs

Just had terrific dinner at the Hillside winery bistro. Short ribs were excellent with accompanying salad and dessert. Wine pairings were great, try their unique Merlot-Malbec blend. Book the upstairs patio for a spectacular view of neighboring vineyards and Okanagan Lake.
