“Fantastic Hotel, Fantastic Staff & Very Comfortable Stay”
Reviewed July 23, 2010

I stayed here for a week while visiting my fiance in June and I was very impressed. The hotel grounds were gorgeous and the room was spacious. I especially liked the free wireless internet, the extra comfy bed and the patio that overlooked the golf course.
This hotel has it all! An outdoor pool and hot tub with lounging chairs, towels and poolside bar service. An outdoor workout area with elliptical, treadmill and weight bench right beside the pool. A onsite restaurant/pub with excellent food, service and a beautiful outdoor patio area.
They even have 2 large stainless steel BBQs for guest use outside which was really nice as we grilled corn, steak and lobster for dinner one night. After talking with one of the other guests I found that this is also one of the few hotels in Penticton that is pet friendly and pets are allowed to stay in the room.
We had the kitchenette suite and it was well stocked; I had no problem cooking meals for the two of us and the dishwashing machine meant no hand washing dishes was needed.
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and I will definitely be visiting again!

We stayed at this hotel for four nights and the housekeeping was terrible. We didn't check in until 7 p.m. The room was small but seemed alright until we looked behind the bathroom door. Hanging on the hook were two damp towels. When we phoned the front desk they said they would send someone up but were really not all that concerned. I couldn't understand how the towels were still damp at 7 p.m. I wanted them to check the beds in case they weren't changed and it seemed like that was a real chore for them. The next day, we came back to the room to discover that none of the coffee mugs or glasses were changed out. They were sitting right where we left them. There was no coffee, sugar or whitener either. Also, we didn't have enough towels for the four of us. I once again phoned the front desk and told her to put on my file that I was very unhappy with the housekeeping service. Unbelievably, the next day we did get new coffee mugs and glasses but she left all the used ones on the counter!! When we checked out, the front desk lady never said one word to us about our experiences even though I had asked for a note to be made. In fact, they said nothing at all. Didn't even ask how our stay was. There are way better places to stay than this hotel.

My husband, 16yr old son and I spent just one night here for a golf tournament. The location was terrific for this as it was right next to the golf course.

The resort has a lovely, central courtyard with grassy area, pool, fountain and cabana area which most of the rooms face with patio doors opening out to and this was really nice.

There is a Pub on the property which serves families for breakfast and lunch but then is only open for adults for dinner. We didn't eat there but the golf course next door had fabulous food.

The room had two queen beds and at first seemed lovely...then you realize that the bed is hard as a rock, the pillows need to be stacked 2 high as they compress so badly after just a few seconds, and the back of the bathroom door hasn't been cleaned in years which I discovered after putting my hand on the horribly black, sticky mess. The duvet covering the bed seemed lovely...until you woke cold in the night and realized that the duvet had slithered to the bottom of the duvet cover and there was no way to fix it without getting up and shaking the whole thing back in place.

If you bring your own pillow....and you're there in the summer....it would be a nice place to stay.

If they would just put a little money into pillows, beds and duvets...it would be a fabulous place to stay.

We recently stayed at this property twice over 2 weeks because of an unexpected family event and funeral and the front desk staff could not have been more helpful, empathetic and caring. One particular staff member went out of her to ensure our stay was stress free and when we needed to return, she again went above and beyond. This hotel welcomes pets and it is quite evident when they remembered our dog's name on the return visit and gave her a welcome "doggy bag"on both occasions!

The rooms are spacious for the type of property it is and the beds are very comfortable. Having a mini fridge in the room is a bonus which we certainly appreciated. Room service and the onsite restaurant/pub has great food and friendly staff.

All in all, we highly recommend this property and we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when in Penticton.

We were very favourably impressed in our first stay at this hotel. All the staff had a "can do" attitude that delivered very good service indeed. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. The trio of guest-use computers off the lobby was a better-than-usual amenity of its type. We had a room in the "tower" (4 stories) facing towards the golf course and were very happy with our decision to request it. The property is very convenient to get to off the highway. While not downtown nor on the Lake both are within walking distance. The associated Kettle Valley pub (see our review) we were not happy with but many other eating options are available nearby

We spent one night here as a break in a longer journey and were pleasantly surprised. The accommodation was great, with a huge room, small kitchenette and balcony. The facilities at the hotel are great - from the outdoor pool and hot tub to the internet access. The pub provided great food and wonderful service. We were pleased to be provided with a complimentary breakfast which was a great start to the day. I'd recommend this hotel and Penticton itself. It's a nice town in the main orchard and vineyard area of BC with a beautiful lakeside beach.

Interestly, I didn't hold out much hope with this hotel, as I had stayed in Ramadas before, but there wasn't any choice at Penticton, due to a Jazz Festival.
So I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived - what a great place. Very comfortable room overlooking Golf Course (standard room), the pub next door was equally good. Friendly staff, good pool and spa. Would recommend.
