There is nothing I can say that I can't sum up with:
1. Location is great (2 blocks from the Lake).
2. Rooms are very nice with an extra large shower.
3. Staff is very pleasant and helpful.
4. Food in the Pub is very good and reasonably priced.
5. The Centre Courtyard is a holiday destination in itself!! Simply green and wonderful!

Overall our stay was very enjoyable. Only minor items detracted.

Firstly, I found the lighting in the room to be on the dim side. The table lamp was having 'issues' (the light was increasing, then dimming). I reported this to front desk one evening, was given another light bulb (which I switched out) and this rectified the issue.

Secondly, the toilet plugged. We called this in to the front desk and maintenance brought a plunger fairly quickly. We took care of the problem (our choice as the gentleman did offer to take care of it).

Thirdly, the guests below us on the main floor enjoyed a 'smoke' on the patio. I had to close our balcony door on two occasions so we didn't suffer a severe case of 'the munchies'. I did not report this to the front desk.

Fourth, the breakfast buffet at the restaurant/pub was good. Definitely no lacking of choice or amount. On our last day, we learned the buffet had been discontinued and menu service was being introduced. Being vegetarian, I was not as thrilled with the menu although I did enjoy a spinach, mushroom and feta omelette.

The resident family of quail kept us very entertained and provided a photo opportunity. We enjoyed the proximity to both a Starbuck's Coffee and the lake. The grounds were very well kept and the variety of trees and plants also provided some photo opportunity. The room rate was excellent; very reasonable.

I usually stay here every 2 weeks for business, and speak very highly of this hotel. The staff is always courteous, and the pillow top mattresses are to die for. I sleep better here than I do at home. I often eat at the Kettle Valley Pub, as they have a great variety of menu items, large portions, and great tasting food.

We used the Penticton Ramada as our wedding hotel in September 2012, since our venue couldn't accommodate all our guests. The staff were incredibly helpful in the prebooking, giving us a discount code for our guests and responding promptly. We stayed 2 nights in one of the deluxe rooms with the pull out and separate bedroom.

Overall, our stay was very good. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we had a blast with our friends and family hanging out by the pool all day before the wedding. The poolside restaurant/bar was closed for the seasons, so we brought some of our own drinks and snacks, and also bought from the bar, and no one gave us any grief -- they just let us do our own thing and lounge for the day, which was really nice and one of my favourite parts of the weekend. Our only complaint was we had a bad smell in our bathroom the 2nd day, and the maintenance person went in promptly to fix it, which he did. It was a little off putting but at least we didn't have to pack up and change rooms. Also we had asked for a cot but it never arrived, but we didn't push it since we didn't end up needing it in the end as our extra guest bunked in with someone else.

I'd definitely stay there again, particularly for the pool and the price.

Room Tip: We liked the tower overlooking the golf course.

Stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed all of them. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Grounds were well kept, room rate very reasonable as well. Staff were some of the friendliest I have ever dealt with at a hotel. If you ahd a question or required directions they were polite and very helpful. On site restaurant had delicious meals and was priced fairly. Overall i would highly recommend your hotel.

The hotel is a little oasis off the highway. It looked to me like all the rooms had good views. (We overlooked the gardens of the golf course.) The interior courtyard of the Inn had sophisticated, lush plantings, and in the morning, quail, ducks and other birds enjoyed the irrigation puddles.
The staff is super customer-oriented. I had a concern about the starch in the bed linens (didn't bother my partner at all) and they actually ran our bed linens through the rinse cycle a couple of extra times. This solved my sensitivity issues.
The last night we were there, I found a stranded pigeon (banded by the Canadian Pigeon Fanciers Assoc.) in the parking lot. I took the pigeon (in my hands) to the office, where
Lindsey assisted us for over an hour, helping us to track down someone who could take the bird off my hands, and get it home to Coldstream. (Thanks Dennis!)
Other staff were terrific too--we loved the place!
And a nice room and pleasant breakfast buffet.
