We stayed at the Pass Motor Inn three years ago and we pleased with its cleanliness and the friendliness of the management. Apparently the hotel has changed hands. The booking for the Pass Motor Inn is partnered with Booking.com which I did not realize so when they realized we had a small dog traveller there was a lot of fuss as the male owner gave us room #202 which is an upstairs room. Eventually they decided they would let us stay and we paid the pet fee, which we expected to pay anyway.
The new owners have no idea how to welcome and treat guests. Apparently they also cannot read their own Booking.com reservation. Their personal dress was tacky, the male owner greeted us wearing a disgusting dirty undershirt and baggy sweatpants. Adding an extra adult guest was practically impossible even though I phoned two days in advance. The room itself had practically no amenities, no fan in the bathroom and a bathroom window that did not close properly. No sound proofing between rooms. Swimming pool used to be kept spotlessly clean. Full of decaying debris.More
