My husband and I ate an early dinner here recently and loved it. He asked for gluten free soy sauce which they supplied. The sushi was very fresh, they had a special order of ahi tuna in and it was amazing. The tuna tataki is very fresh and tasty. The gomae spinach salad is also delicious. We will choose Nori Sushi again soon.

Consistently tasty and fresh! My favorite BBQ eel. Visiting at least once a month and the food quality, portioning and freshness is always the same - as well as great service!

Out and about with a goat. (Never mind.) As far as I am concerned, and after having lived in Nanaimo for 6 years .. this is the BEST place to eat. Good food, good service. Ask your server about what is NOT on the menu. Order the "Damn Good Roll"! Awesome!

Stopped by here after going to Wildplay Monkido. Had the salmon sashimi, miso soup and the rock n roll. Boyfriend had the salmon teriyaki. Miso soup was a little bland. Salmon sashimi was delicious, melt in your mouth. Rock n roll was pretty decent but we had to remind the server that we had ordered it. Salmon teriyaki was tasty, bed of vegetables underneath was good as well. Nice atmosphere, the sushi chefs were greeting people by name so you can tell that they really get to know their regulars. Overall good food, a little pricy though but would return.

Stopped in for lunch with my sushi loving family and from the moment we entered we knew it was a great restaurant. We were greeted by the chefs, served tea in their wonderful atmosphere as we perused the amazing menu and lunch specials. We all had bento boxes and they're an amazing deal with soup and several varieties of fab food. Very reasonable with fantastic service.
We'll be back!
