We knew what we were getting when we booked this hotel. We were in town for a curling event and it is the closest place to the curling club, and offered a cheap rate ($79). We knew we wouldn't be spending much time in the room so we went for it, even though we knew it was old and tired.
Honestly, the place is clean. Yes, it is dated. Yes, if you stay in a room next to the driveway or on the roadside, you better bring your earplugs.
We specifically asked for a room with a fridge and micro and on the courtyard side. We slept just fine, and for the money, I gotta say it was worth it.
The staff at the front desk were really friendly and helpful.
One last thing: Had breakfast in the restaurant, it was not great. There are lots of other places to choose from in the neighbourhood.More
