“Always good!!”
Reviewed August 17, 2013 via mobile

This restaurant remains consistent with the quality of food and extensive wine list. Nice to see some of the "old favourites"on the menu plus an introduction of new interesting flavours. Robert is always helpful in guiding us through the vast choice in wines but never pushing the higher prices ones.
The service is always discreet and attentive. The water glasses are filled, more butter is brought for bread and mayonnaise appears without question for the "pomme frites" ( all without asking repeatedly , as in other restaurants !! ).
This is our go to place for family occasions that makes their customers always feel special.
Ask for the table in the corner by the kitchen. It accommodates 6-8 nicely and is a bit more intimate.

“Great service, food ok.”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

This little restaurant has a very friendly staff who will definitely make you feel welcome and give you as genuine a french bistro experience that you can expect to have in a town like Kelowna. The food is nice as well, but nothing special, particularly for the price.

“Number One in Kelowna and deservedly so!”
Reviewed August 9, 2013 via mobile

We had a very cordial welcome and a really first class meal at Bouchons Bistro. The daily "Chef's Special" fired both of our imaginations and we chose Mixed Organic Greens with Duck Prosciutto as a starter, Skillet Seared Lamb Sirloin on Herb Jus as a main, and Baked Alaska for dessert. The price was a very reasonable CAD42.00 each, which represented excellent value given the quality of the meal. We chose an Okanagan Cabernet Franc from Oliver to accompany our food. One of the very best meals we've eaten in the two weeks we've been in Western Canada. Bouchons is a great neighbourhood restaurant: excellent food, and a great (and completely un-pretentious)atmosphere. Both the proprietors were much in evidence throughout our meal and added a very pleasant personal touch.

“Good as ever (nearly)”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

Probably Kelowna's best, or joint best, restaurant. Impeccable French style cooking with their 'historic' signature cone filled with fries and outstanding service. The only minor criticism was the quality of the beef fillet was not just as good as expected.
This was the quiet side of town but with the many new local condos, the North End is no longer quiet. With good parking, attractive waterfront nearby, this destination with the outstanding Waterfront Wines restaurant adjacent is where to go if you have deep pockets and want to be guarantedd a good meal. To be fair they do have a Prixe Fixe 3 course menu but it is still not cheap but quality and service never comes cheaply. enjoy?

“A little bit of Paris”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

If you are in the mode for great meal and want to be swept away to the bistros of Paris, you must visit bouchon. The food was unbelievable. I love rabbit and was thrilled to see it on the menu. It was one of the best dish I had. There are other items that will please the not so daring. The wife had steak and raved about it as well.

The ambient was good. The tables can be close and if you get seated by a loud mouth, it can spoil the mode if it is romance you are looking for. Our waiter spoke french which was a nice touch since my wife is french. The wine list was very good and complemented the food. Good variety of French wines from different regions.

The prices are on the high end but inline with the quality of the food and other restaurants in the area, e.g. Quails Gate.

We would go back again!!
