Sept. 17 and 18/ 2009: Warm welcome; beautiful home and gardens; comfortable accomodation. Mina offers an extensive breakfast menu and serves it up elegantly. She is very knowledgeable about the Kelowna area and can recommend places to suit your interests. Rates are very reasonable; food is excellent; location is in an upscale neighborhood,
We highly recommend this B and B and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Not the best experience; Room and bathroom were nice, bed was comfy, BUT!

We were not given a key for our bedroom and the lock on the door didn't work. The first day we arrived, we settled in and went for supper. When we returned, the host greeted us at the door after having had way too much wine. When we got to our bedroom, our door was wide open, although we didn't find that anything was missing, we felt that this was a violation of our privacy. We were also uncomfortable knowing that our door didn't lock and that anyone could walk in at any time. The shower head was in very poor condition which left us with a trickle to shower with and the water pressure was very poor at the bathroom sink. The host later explained that she wasn't aware that the shower head was in bad condition and that she had lowered the pressure to the sink to conserve on water.

We stayed for 2 nights and I must say that the second night was much better. Our door was left shut and no items went missing.

On the brighter side, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delightful.

I have corrected the water flow , I have used a product to clean the hard water build-up in the shower head until a new one is installed by my son when he installs a new lock on the bedroom door. I have always left lights on outside my home and in the room for guests to welcome them back in my home.I would like comments on this from any one reading this. Please remember you are sharing my home with me , I was sitting on my porch with guests sharing a bottle of wine.I have enjoyed operating a B&B for many years but every now and then you have some guests that will find fault no matter how hard you work I do all my own baking , cleaning , gardening and minor house repairs myself , I am close to 73 years .Guests please let your host know when something is not working

I will be honest; got lost on the way in but when you find it, inside is Mina and what a blooming english rose it is.

We are in our 2nd B&B now and already we are complaining how pampered we were in comparison to when we were are Mina's.

Mina greeted us with a big smile, open arms and a glass of home made wine... what a way to make a great first impression. Her home was immaculate and her landscaping was great. Very picturesque and colourful. The rooms were huge with many little extra touches and the service was amazing. Every morning for breakfast we were encouraged to try something different from the menu, just to keep it interesting. Breakfast was served at the guest's leisure (within reason) and was delicious each day. There were only a few blemishes that made our stay a little less sparkling than it could have been... one, there were no locks on the individual rooms (which fits right into the host's philosophy on B&B's; sharing one's own home... we just didn't know ahead of time so it caught us by surprise. The other was the presence of a few pesky fruit flies around the house. Now this could have been because Mina was just such a sweetheart, but we could have done without the extra friends at the breakfast table. Overall a great little place tucked into the hills in wine country, minutes away from 5 local wineries with a great hostess who was welcoming and considerate as well as very helpful. We'd definitely stay again if we're in town. It was a great couple of days.
