Was there for lunch this week and had the much promoted fish tacos, VERY disappointed, looked pretty, but looks can be deceiving. There was no seasoning and every time I took a bite I had liquid running down my fingers or face. The predominant flavor which stayed with me for several hours was the filler -- raw onion... When I asked for more guacamole, was told it was already in the tacos...Won't be returning again.

This is the reincarnation of the old Pheasant and Quail pub courtesy of the same ownership group as the local Keg and the Train Station pub downtown. They've made a good run at it, opening up the floor plan and certainly installing an excellent selection of draught beers. We found the service all right and our food too. They had hurried a bit to get open and not everything was quite finished yet but I can excuse that. It wasn't very crowded when we were there but my guess is that when it is the noise level will be very high -- too much for the sound to bounce off and not enough to absorb it. Other than that nothing very special. We'll probably go back again in a while to see how it has developed -- but we miss the P&Q.

We settled for the burgers, regular and lamb..., both were very dry and over cooked. As an appie we had the fried potato chips with melted Parmesan cheese which was a huge disappointment. (We only ate half..., dry, melted cheese was crispy cheese and left me wondering why it was even on the menu). Even after expressing dis-satisfaction no accommodation was offered. I felt that both the wine and beer selection, though interesting was over priced. 2 burgers, appie, wine for 2 and a beer..., over $100.00

They're trying hard but featuring California wines in the Okanagan which has fabulous wines grown here. Charges $12 for a 9 oz glass of wine..$40 for a bottle..overpriced. It's supposed to be a pub. Food selections overpriced as well (appetizers). Haven't tried a main course yet. Staff are new and need some personality. Hopefully time and training will improve. Beer is 6.50, expensive.

Recommendations: Try Gray Monk Wines and local beers. Have Happy Hour promos. Send sample appies on occasion and try some basic PR.

Service & food good. Nice beer and drink selection . Was disappointed though that we couldn't sit out on the patio. It's summer!
