“Great place to take a break.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2013

I can't think of anyplace better to go with a packed lunch and be able to enjoy the company you are with, or just relax by yourself.

“A Peaceful Hidden Gem Located Minutes Away From City Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2013

Take you lunch or coffee and sit or walk along the pathways surrrounding the pond of koi. At times you can see turtles. A very tranquil environment just a few walking minutes away from City Park located behind the City Hall building.

“A nice escape in the middle of downtown”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2013

Kasugai gardens are a great detour from your downtown or waterfront walking tour to find this gem tucked right behind city hall.

Kids (and adults!) seem to love looking at the koi and on a nice day you'll often see turtles sunning themselves on the rocks.

One of my favourite things to do was to bring a sandwich and sit on the rocks or a bench and enjoy lunch.

“A Quiet and Serene Place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

Kasugai Japanese Garden is a quiet and serene place nestled in behind City Hall. The waterfall, pond, and manicured plants create a very peaceful atmosphere. it is a neat place to use for photo portraits.

“Peaceful garden”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2012

Kasugai Garden is very peaceful even though it is in the middle of a bustling city. Great to take children as they will enjoy the very large koi fish. However, seating in the garden is limited and not any grassy areas to have a picnic.
