We love taking our guests to the KVR to see the trestles and the tunnels. It is an easy bike ride or hike, and the views and history are amazing.

I would say good for families but not young children. Tunnels were fun..might pay to have a head light for the long one. Easy to rent bikes there. !/2 day rental would be enough for the trestle bridge experience.

bring layers as it can be much colder up here than at lake-level in Kelowna. Rent a bike for around $40 and enjoy a lovely (flat) ride along the old steam railway lines while enjoying the besutiful scenery

What a brilliant idea to create a bike trail on an old rail bed. Myra canyon has 18 trestles an 2 tunnels. You can walk or ride a bike. You can do the entire area or just a few trestles.
Road in is gravel. Fairly level at this time. Lots of parking. Bike rentals at entry to the parking lot. Can prebook bike rentals. Snacks available. Take water. No services on trail. Pit toilets on route. Less than 3% grade so A level trail.
Trestles rebuilt after 2003 fires.
Not recommended if you are afraid of heights.

Six of us rented bikes and rode the 22km loop. Amazing views and an easy ride. It was fun riding over the 18 trestles and through the two tunnels. One of our group hates heights but he still really enjoyed the ride; he just didn't stop on any of the trestles and look down. It was a wonderful way to spend a morning.
