There is some awesome scenery in this part of Kelowna as well as a great active day either biking, hiking or just going for a nice stroll. Don't forget to bring some water with you it's a good hike in some areas.

Great for hiking or biking. Spectacular views of Kelowna.
Highly recommended. Easy hike, no large inclines. Beautiful wildlife.

If you don't have a bicycle, rent one and go for a ride with family or friends. You can choose to take a short ride or go all the way to Penticton. Bring your own food and water.
Can also walk, and turn around anytime.

Beautiful September Sunday outing, the leaves started changing to orange red and gold colors. It's very quite and peaceful. Lots of fresh air and breath taking scenery. The bridges are something else. They were newly rebuilt after the disastrous 2003 forest fire. It's a great outing for families and friends. Nice areas to have picnics also.

Myra Canyon trail is part of the Kettle Valley railway. Start at the Myra canyon end for the closest access to the many trestles and tunnels. The information boards tell the storey of the railway and the wildlife and fauna. The gentle slope is good for all ages by foot or bicycle. Bikes can be rented right at the parking lot. Washrooms are available. Unless you plan to cycle all the way to Chute Lake or to Naramata you must come back the same way you go which means you can choose to go for 1/2 hour or the full day.
