While in Kelowna, we had time to visit the KVR in Myra Canyon. It was an easy hike. great for everyone. Crossing the trestle bridges, provides a great view of the valley. Will definitely do this again, when we return.

We enjoyed cycling the trestles, though trestles 1 to 3 were inaccessible from the Myra Station end during our visit in July. As others have noted, the view is awesome, and leaves one to admire the engineering and effort it took to build the trestles in the first place. Kudos to the Trestle Restoration Society that helped rebuild them and works on the trail. We also rode towards McCulloch Station, but found the trail less used and maintained. The Myra forest service road is steep, and I do not recommended biking it to get to the KVR.

These days you don't get too much for free but the Myra Canyon Trestles is a fantastic trip for nothing.

Bring some water with you and comfortable walking shoes or your bikes. The return trip to the end and back takes 4 hours and 2 hours respectively. The gentle slope is an easy walk/peddle. If you don't have a bike, you can rent them up there.

We live in Kelowna and make it a practice to do the trek at least once a year and take all our visitors there for the experience.
