I went here for the first time with a few of my friends tonight and it was great! We were drawn in by the live music at the front of the restaurant, a guy called "Papa Dawg" (I think) was sitting there with his guitar belting out blues! A girl greeted us right when we came in and let us know how everything worked, sit where ever you want and order right up at the counter when you're ready, and questions just let her know. I guess we looked confused (we had no idea what to get) and a different girl came over and helped us pick out the memphis feast, a huge platter with everything on it that we could all share. We also got a pitcher or beer that was on special with the "brews and blues". Our food got there within seconds of us sitting down and we got a full run through of all the meat on the platter. All the food was amazing! The meats were all moist and had a real smoked flavor, the only thing I might suggest is getting more cornbread, the platter doesn't come with very much (only two or three pieces). The whole restaurant has a cool feel to it, there's lots of southern things tacked all over the walls, pictures or Elvis and whatnot. The servers were nice and energetic, the younger server with the green hair was dancing up front with the guy singing the live music, she looked like she liked her job. I will defiantly be back! Probably on a Thursday for more live music, we were told he's there every week.
