So, to be fair, we didn't have a full-blown lunch, but the staff didn't mind at all that we just had cheese, charcuterie and wine. A totally brilliant experience from the politeness of staff from the first hello, the efficiency of their service and the quality of the food.
We were given a lovely table on the patio which has the most beautiful views of the lake. Our waiting staff displayed a great sense of humour and was very helpful with explaining the cheeses and meats we picked for our snacks - we shared the excellent charcuterie and cheese wheel.
We enjoyed a selection of the Gray Monk's wines - a flight of 3 was more than enough to share between the two of us.
I would highly recommend this as a great experience to make a day in the wine region just that little bit more special.
Fabulous! And affordable!!!
