The cabins smell like dog pee. No wonder they sell these scented electronic devices in the office. They don't make it easy for fisherman to plug in their batteries to recharge at night. Mine was unplugged the following day and I had a half charged battery. Thanks a lot. They have internet but won't give guests access to it. The pool was to packed to even get a seat or table. They won;t let you park your vehicle close to your cabin. Terrible access from the cabins to the lake/pool and office. The furniture is old and burnt out and smelly. Save your money and stay elsewhere. Not what it used to be. Not even close.

We went back at the tail end of the season and rented ourselves a chalet this time. It was wonderful! The chalet was warm and inviting, very comfortable. I got some much needed R&R. We ate dinner in the bar and watched some football. We both ordered the wasabi crusted salmon (one trout), it was delicious! We did catch a fish on our one fishing day - but the bugger got away :o(

We really enjoy this place and are sure to keep coming back once or twice a year!

Friends and Family trip, we camped while we were up there but got to experience the chalets too through friends. Everything was wonderful, the campsites are clean, on the smaller side, and only 8 of them i beleive but had a fire ring and picknick tables, garbage cans and recyecling bins at each site, which are collected every day. It was a great weekend! There are two seperate washrooms, each with showers near the pool and hot tub just a couple steps from the campsite for campsite users. Free firewood in the firewood shed. The chalets are duplex style, clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and accomodating, the lounge and the restaurant were good too. The fishing was great, pretty well eveyone had a bite, except for me. The main road to Roche lake resort thankfully is very well maintained, nice and smooth to drive. We'll be back! Hope that helps!
