The food is fresh and soooo tasty.
What a pleasant surprise.
A little hole in the wall with not the best decor, but it is all about the food!

The food is well-prepared, fresh -made on the spot and tasty. This restaraunt has been owned/operated by the same family for many years, a testament to their success.

The garlic wonton soup here is amazing! Once you taste this soup you will be addicted. The owner is a very friendly lady and always remembers you and what you want. I can't believe more people don't know about this.

We read about this little place on tripadvisor.com and, because of all the great reviews, we decided to check it out.

As reviewed by others, the place is a little hole-in-the-wall with absolutely no ambiance, and the service is not fast. But the food. Oh, the food. What a terrific surprise!

We ordered the garlic dumplings as we'd read about them here, and they were just amazing. We also ordered the Cantonese chow mein which is one of our stand-bys and it was delicious. Then we ordered the deep-fried prawns. Son and I consider ourselves to be "prawnosseurs" (LOL sorry!), always looking for the perfect deep-fried prawns, and these were pretty close to perfect in our opinion.

The owners are very friendly and personable and very interested in the lives of their patrons.

We ate the left-overs for a midnight snack, and I have to say the left-overs were even better than the first time around.

This is a place that we will go back to again and again! Try it!

Although the decor and the dinnerware could be upgraded quite a bit as chipped plates and bowls turn me off, I will say that the food there is very good if you don't mind waiting for it. It's not a "fast" restaurant but nobody makes Hot Garlic Soup like they do plus there are a few other dishes like garlic dumplings, crispy chicken and such that we would kill for! If you work with the staff in describing what you like, they are wonderful for helping you pick out dishes that you would truly enjoy, so don't let the appearance fool you, the food is GOOD!
