“Hotel eating spot - not bad!”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

Convenient restaurant if you are staying in the hotel, with average prices, good food, varied menu, and average service.

“Expensive Average Food”
Reviewed May 27, 2013

After traveling all day, one wants a nice hot meal. Go somewhere else rather than Rics. Food is high priced for average food. The soup was good, but the rest of the meal went downwards. We had fish and chips - the fish was old. We also had the triple fish (salmon, crab and something else) which wasn't very interesting. For the price, it should have been exciting.

“disappointed”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

Ric's grill is disappointing to say the least. Because the food is SO expensive, we opted to have the fish and chips (18.00) (2- 4 in. pieces of fish and fries , no salad of any sort!) asked for well done. They were still greasy. Grease laying on top of the fish... the bread that came before the meal was hard and could not be cut with the knife given, we had to tear it apart! and crunch our way through it. Sad!! We have had way better meals ANYWHERE else.
So very OVERRATED!

“Tale of two meals”
Reviewed May 1, 2013

Had dinner there, service was good despite it being VERY busy, food was solid. I suppose I was a bit surprised a the pricing on the wine list, it seemed abit high for what you are getting, but I don't want to quibble with that.
Had breakfast the next day and the food was fine, but I found the service very disinterested, slow, and frankly a bit gruff.
Different staff members of course, but management may want to review the morning service.
