I stopped in Kamloops expressly because I have a great place to stay (The Plaza) & to eat - Terra. Had a good memories from previous visit. I ordered the seafood special at $28, a glass of Chardonnay, & had to ask for bread. I understand fine dining & have eaten at great establishments across the continent & abroad. The portion served up was meager & my comment both to the chef & waiter was met with not an offer for another parsnip or carrot, but that the cod was dear & I would find it satisfying.
After a very long day on the road, the meal was disappointing. I'll try elsewhere next time.
