We arrived just in time for the bears to be fed, which was amazing. We got to watch them search for food like they do in the wild.
My husband also enjoyed the birds of prey show, they had about 6 different birds that all did some amazing tricks.
We found out that the park helps to rehabilitate animals, which I thought was great.
We also took the $1 train ride, which lasted about 5 mins, but it took you to places that you were not able to walk. So if some animals were at the very back of their space you had a chance to see them a bit closer.

If you are travelling with children or want something to do try out the Wildlife Park. There is plenty of parking (even for oversized vehicles) and lots to do. On many holiday weekends they bring in additional attractions that are very educational and fun. You can pack a picnic lunch and eat by the water park. You might want to bring a couple of towels and a change of clothes for anyone playing in the water park. There is a great petting zoo, a miniature train which is nominal but a great way to see the park if you do not want to do all the walking. You can pick up a daily schedule of events at the discovery centre. There are plenty of places to sit in the shade and various concessions in the park area for refreshments and treats. Bring some cash along as the train and some of the concessions only take cash :)

Going at Christmas with the the light display gives the park a very magical place for both the adult and children. The Grand Children and myself love the little train that takes around the park so you can see all the feathers.

We have yearly passes for all our grandchildren as well as our own..it is a terrific place to introduce them to the sights and sounds of nature. The added features are a train that hoots around the park,a water park, climbing playgrounds, slides and feature shows to keep the kids occupied when not checking out the animals ..Great displays and info..friendly folks running the show always there to help..A must visit when in Kamloops!!!!
