We took our little one to the wildlife park recently and we had a blast. I had been a few times before and was always impressed with the animals they had and of course the Wild lights at Christmas time. I was thoroughly impressed this time as they have many new exhibits inside and outside and animals as well as some new additions like seating arenas for certain shows. They had staff doing informative displays with animals which in itself was very impressive. Everything was very well taken care of everywhere. The train ride is a must for all ages and the water park is nice for the little ones. We had a great time. We are very fortunate to have such a great family wildlife park so close to town.

This is kamloops best family attraction and is as good in the winter as it is during the summer. The staff are always friendly and will always stop and answer any questions you have. The animals have plenty of room to wander around so don't expect to see then close up, although most of the time they will lazing or playing near the fence. During the summer a miniture train runs guests around the park for a nominal fee ($1 for adults & $0.50 for children). The restaurant on site may not be kamloops best but the prices are cheap and the food is plentiful.

Great to see a place offering an up close encounter with native wildlife.I think all the animals are rescued or in rehab. They have new baby racoons that are so much fun to watch. I didn't want to leave!
