The hotel was clean & comfortable. Good location, right on the river and close to the highway. The restaurant next door worked out great for the whole family. It’s a good idea to make reservations, if you want to sit out on the patio.

What an experience! A small dusty room with bed bugs and dust mites. Carpet and furniture was dusty. It seemed like they had never vacumed the carpet. Linens were not clean either. It was a horrible experience!!!

I stayed in Riverland Inn & Suites in July 2008 with my fiance.

We stayed in the Queen suite with Kitchenette.

We were very impressed with this hotel's views of the river, the balconey was amazing, the pool/hot tub were also very nice. We also enjoyed the fact that for our suite at least, we could back the car right by our door making loading/unloading very easy!

The room was clean and had all that we needed.

I also loved how easy access was to get to the hotel, you don;t need to drive all around the city getting lost, simply pull off the highway and it is right there!

Spent one night here on the way to Vancouver. Good location, especially if you can get a river side room.

Room was small but comfortable. This is an older refurbished building. Fairly good job of the refurbishing but some unusual quirks - like why not replace the old, old bathroom light fixtures? Very clean room. Good service at the reception desk with helpful info about what was going on in town that night. To limber yourself up after a long day in the car there is a nice riverside pathway that starts a short distance west of the hotel at the yacht club. Breakfast was good with the unusual opportunity to use real cutlery and plates and to eat eggs, potatoes, and sausage. Big complaint would be that eggs and potato were cold, in spite of being kept in a proper warming dish.

If this was the most expensive hotel that one previous reviewer stayed at in Canada, they must have been on a really restricted budget or found really, really good deals as I found this location to be good value for the money.

Great location just off highway 1, and on the riverbank
Room decent size with good bathroom and shower.
Bed very comfortable, Large TV
Great sunset over the river.
Small breakfast room, with basic continental breakfast. Ate at the next door Storm restaurant in the evening, very pleasant staff and good food.

The Riverland Inn & Suites at Kamloops is a great little stop over if you're travelling along Highway #1. Our double room was large and well maintained and looked out over the nearby river. There is a clothes washing and drying facility which is useful and a good buffet breakfast is included.

Conveniently, next door is Storms restaurant. We didn't find Kamloops the kind of town to explore for restaurants so this was a welcome find. The service and food were great and if you sit outside you can enjoy the river view. It can get busy to be prepared to dine early or book a table.
