En route from Vancouver to Calgary we stayed at the Kamloops Best Western Plus and we had a good night's sleep, an opportunity to connect with our family via the internet and a good breakfast which allowed us to get an efficient start on the day. The room was very nice in terms of decor and comfort. The breakfast was outstanding and was included in the price of the room. They served fresh fruit and canned fruit salad, egg patties, local bakery breads and pastries and very crisp cooked bacon. The highlight in the breakfast room was a machine that prepared and cooked pancakes to order. Many guests gave it a try and were pleased with the piping hot resutls. Coffee, tea and orange juice were also available. Interestingly, we discovered that all rooms are equipped with grab bars in the bath tub. This was a feature we appreciated as one of our party has a disability for which a grab bar is a desirable commodity.
