I still miss the " good old days " of the Keg n Clever. The salad bar was too die for ! Okay, on to 2014. The restaurant is located in the historic railway station. All the windows are totally covered with heavy, closed wooden blinds, making it very dark. If they turned off all the lights and opened the blinds, the natural light would make it better. Anyways, service started out good, but when the server got a big group table, he was invisible. The food came out a bit scattered. We did not get our Ceaser Salad til after the main course, and if I had not reminded him, he would not have brought it at all. Mistakes happen, I get it ! The food was excellent . Good thing, the prices are very high. Scallops and bacon are great. The ribs are very tender and tasty. Twice baked potato was good also. But, if you consider that 2 of us shared 1 appy, 1 salad, 1 entrée, 1 bottle of wine, and with a $ 10. tip the bill was $ 90.00 ( to put it into perspective, if you were a min. wage employee, like servers, you would have to work for 9 hours to earn 90.00 )
I can see the day, where the ' steak house ' is gonesville. just saying. maybe the younger generation think very differently. lol lol lol
