With a massive overhaul a couple of years ago, KGCC looks and plays like new. The course is characterized by large shade trees, mostly level play (there are no significant elevation changes) and mostly well-maintained rough.
Long fairways, large water hazards and good facilities on the course as well as in the clubhouse make KGCC a perennial favourite with locals.
The food is good and excellent value -- things aren't overpriced. Two patios and a deck have umbrellas and/or shade trees. Inside, the gas fireplace and barbecue deck make it a comfortable gathering spot when it gets cool out.
The driving range and related facilities are all excellent. I can't see a way to improve those.
I've played the course many times, as have many friends, and we all enjoy it.
