The Hungry Chef is a bit out of the way but worth looking for. A nice deck on a quiet street serving a varied menu with fresh ingredients. We had the Beef Stir Fry (fresh and straigh-forward) and the Spicy Chicken Carbonara Fettuccini (very spicy and flavourful).

Thank you for your review! While we appreciate that we're not on the lakefront street, we are in fact the closest restaurant to the resort from their parking lot. So happy you found us!!

This is the place to go for a gourmet burger. The atmosphere is best when the front patio wall is opening the dining area to the outside patio. The owner and chef does a pretty good job. Homemade everything. Good value.

I miss their pizzas. Their pizza's were awesome. They don't make them anymore.

A quiet little restaurant with a nice patio one block from the lakefront, you might miss it but you shouldn't! The service was excellent - quick, friendly everything went well. The food was delicious we had pasta dishes that we really enjoyed - and they don't skimp on the seafood in their pastas! The prices were reasonable - 13-20 or so for what we had which considering so many things are elevated in this tourist town it was good.

The menu, the value, the service, the comfortable dining on a perfect day! The waitress was helpful and friendly. I had the vegetarian plate and my wife had the filet mignon and we were both impressed. We highly recommend this establishment!

In a town that refuses to come to grips with the fact that it needs great places in order to keep the people thier tourism people attract, The Hungry Chef, almost alone, makes the trip to Harrison Hot Springs worthwhile!

Great food! Great service and an attitude from the ownership and staff that makes patrons truly feel like a valued guest!

We were there for two days staying at the resort hotel (which certainly needs dramatic imrpovement) and after being dissapointed with the offerings there, went in search of better eaterys along the main street that borders the lake. In Harrison, one unfortunately does not pay attention to what is not on the lakefront as it appears to be mostly residential, we were wrong. We tried others and were not pleased with the quality, value or service.

We were leaving town and happened to drive by The Hungry Chef and were attracted by the designof the building and the great name! It was more than worth stopping!

No "Captain Highliner" generic Fish and Chips, no bland, tasteless Pasta, no smug, bored servers!

In one word...WOW!

We'll stop by Harrison again, just for The Hungry Chef!

Thank you!
