This property has been sold. It is awaiting some kind of redevelopment. Ask the Township of angley abou this property and the plans for it.

“The only thing they are consistent on is that it's bad”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2013

This is a beautiful location which draws a lot of tourists that are in the Fort Langley area. That being said they hide the lack of quality food by putting white table clothes down and charging a small fortune for some "traditional" European food.

I ordered the rilette which consisted of two slices of brie cheese some burnt garlic and two cranberries microwaved. My husband and I decided not to order entree's after the appy and left the restaurant with our bill already being $25 for that appy and two drinks.

I talked to some friends I have in the industry and one of whom has done a working stage there. She informed me that their kitchen was very dirty and the Chef often used the vegetable blanching pot to cook lobster in. (Those of us with shellfish allergies find that insane!) Though they try to do things from scratch it seems that the leadership is not steady. This place has been close to closing more than once but has been saved by the city because it is a landmark. I would suggest next time the staff gets changed out and the menu gets a work over. Expensive and the service left something to be desired. The previous time I had eaten here I had soup and a sandwich which was not very good either.

I wont be going back especially since i've learned about the dirty kitchen habits.

“Not the greatest”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

Found the food was good, service was a bit snootish. It is a resturant that wants to appear upper lip but hey, it's just a resturant
