My husband and I have dinned here for lunch and dinner in the summer and winter, this past year. So we have been able to try the different seasonal menus.
Every meal, casual lunch on the deck or special dinner inside has been excellent.

Great service !!! And great food!!
My favorites over the last year - prawn lettuce wraps , fish and chips,
Spinach salad, and most recently the "Angus reserve" strip Loin .
We can't leave without having the carrot cake. It's a must!

Right now they have the 2 can dine for $50. Great deal!

It's a bit of a drive to get there, but WELL worth it !!!
Can't wait to go back :)

Thank daypassdel

We visited the Genoa Bay Café twice during a recent visit to Duncan. First trip was at night with a group of 8. The mussels for an appetizer were some of the best we have had, but my husband and my mains were a little disappointing. I ordered the Jambalaya and it was more like a spicy seafood served over rice. Some of our table ordered the Halibut and Chips and it looked so good the two of us decided to go back the next day for lunch just to have some.

During the day it was a lovely venue looking out across the water, and we split the seafood chowder (excellent) and the halibut and chips. It was worth the second trip. Light crisp batter, moist fish, chips were good too. A little out of Duncan (about 23 minutes) but worth the drive just for this.

Genoa bay is at the end of a road in a really bucolic bay. Great place to end up after a windy drive down the road, or rocky hike or bike ride from Mt Tzouhalem!

This is the only place to eat in the bay and they make it a worthwhile trip.

I had the pasta of the day with Prawns, mussels and bacon! It was a very good lunch.

Great service and food.

Excellent meal, and nice view on the bay. Recommended by Funky Frog Bed and Breakfast. Would definitely return another time or recommend to others.

This restaurant is seasonal, but is open longer than most in that category. The indoor space provides a comfortable, warm environment. In warm, dry weather the deck ia a great place to enjoy good company with exceptionally good food prepared by the proprietors.
The deck is situated beside and over the East channel of the Genoa Bay Marina, with a view of boats, wharves and water.
Recommended for Mother's Day, birthdays and other special occasions.
