The real steam trains are decorated with Christmas lights and tour around the park at night. Beautiful!

I liked the train ride the best. Heads up - they won't let you in with a little dog even if it is being carried.

Thanks so much much for organizing such a magical time during your 2012 Christmas Train season. Our grandchildren were just thrilled, but the adults were equally pleased. The lit train track over the water and "candy cane" lane were higlights, not to mention many old relics beautifully lit. Well done!

We decided to enjoy the Christmas Train at the Centre with my granddaughter. The first pleasure was parking since, especially since it was at night, they had oodles of attendants to direct you to an open spot. The Centre itself is large with lots to see and do. The first priority was the train, a real steam engine with a real steam whistle. The train ride was about 15 minutes and great fun as well as being able to see the vast array of Christmas lights. Lots of things for the family to enjoy as well as they had a Santa there with pictures with Santa costing a lot less than the rip off Shopping Malls. Kudos to the Duncan Lions who operate this.

If you get a chance visit the Forest Museum at Halloween. What a treat! The grounds are filled with spooks, bonfires and carved pumpkins. Take a ride on the steam train thro the scarey, scarey woods.
