Owner description: The Klondike National Historic Sites of Canada commemorate the 1896 Klondike Gold Rush, the role of large corporation gold mining in the Klondike and river transportation in the Yukon. “Gold Dredge #4”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

Come see this amazing machine that was used to gather countless millions of dollars of gold. Left where she stopped Parks Canada is now refurbishing this amazing ship.

“Lots to see and do”
Reviewed April 20, 2012

As many of the tours are organized by Parks Canada, there is a lot to see and do in the area inexpensively. All you have to do is go to the Visitor's Reception Center on front street and book several tours at once, such as the Dredge, Jack London's Cabin, and the town walking tour. I have done this even though I live here, tagging along with guests from out of town and was truly fascinated because there is so much to learn about the history here. Note that the tours only operate during the summer months.
