Perfect hotel in this Western setting, perfectly located near all the action....2nice restaurants with great food overlooking a beautiful garden setting.our room was a little too warm facing the setting sun with no a/c. A fan was provided that helped.

I traveled with several friends and we chose Westmark in Dawson City as they had the least expensive accommodations that I could find for a group of singles traveling together. The room had two double beds in it, an oscillating fan and screens on the window. Would have been nice to have AC, as it was quite muggy the one evening we stayed there.

There is no wifi in guest rooms, but there is free access in the lobby. The lobby isn't very spacious, nor are there many places to sit if you bring a laptop.

There is a restaurant and bar on the premises. We chose to have our evening meal in the bar and we opted to eat outside on the deck (umbrellas over picnic tables). The service left a lot to be desired. Once our first round of drinks - to include water - was served, we didn't see the waitress again until our food was delivered 30 minutes later.

Other than these minor annoyances, the hotel was comfortable and clean and a satisfactory place to lay our head for the night.

The hotel chain, Westmark, has a large hotel in this quaint town. There are several buildings of rooms. Ours was clean and well maintained.

We enjoyed family time together playing cards on the peaceful back porch. The flowers and landscaping in the courtyard are beautiful.

We ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant, which has friendly and efficient service.

A great stop on our Yukon adventure.

We stayed in the newer section across the street from the reception area. The room had 10 ft ceilings, one of the best beds of our trip, and lots of great pillows. Very roomy and very clean as well. Except fro not being able to check in at 2 (an hour early), we had a wonderful stay. All our staff contacts were excellent.

This hotel basically caters to the cruise ship and bus travelers. Most of the hotel and restaurant staff are brought in from other places to run the facilities. We enjoyed our stay in Dawson City and would recommend it to others traveling on the Alaskan Highway - it's off the highway but worth the trip.
