“Amazing, Fantastic Drive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2014

I love driving down winding roads that are not boring and this road has lots of that. The view, is amazing, such a scenic drive, lots of areas to stop and hike and just enjoy from waterfalls, to forests to shoreline. Worth the detour from driving straight on Highway 1 to Vancouver

“Very nice scenic drive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2014

I love going on the Sea to Sky HIghway when ever I get the chance. Since they've improved it for the 2010 Winter Olympics, the highway feels better. You encounter a lot of beautiful scenery. Only thing that I dislike are the crazy drivers who go way over the speed limit. 10 to 15 km/h above the speed llimit is okay but there are some that go way pass that and it can be a bit dangerous when it's raining or snowing. Otherwise, it's a beautiful highway to go on.

“Great improvement on this highway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2014

This was the first time we have travelled this highway since it was upgraded for the 2010 Olympics. It has been improved greatly and the views and scenery are wonderful. The highway makes a visit to Whistler or beyond a good experience.

“Spectacular Views, Modest Driving Fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2014

If you are looking to replicate the driving thrill of the Stelvio or Furka passes in the Alps or Angel's Crest in CA, the Sea to Sky Highway will disappoint you. The wide, sweeping roads give the distinct impression that exceeding the speed limit to add a level of driving excitement would attract unwanted attention from the local constabulary.
However, there is no denying that this route represents one of the greatest compact North American scenic powerhouses that you can enjoy from a car. Sweeping vistas greet you at every corner -- it's a beautiful drive. Just note that it's a paradise-like drive, not a driver's paradise.

“one of the great drives in the world”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2014

Once you reach the section that heads north along Howe Sound, you're in for a visual treat at every turn. Do as we did and trade of driving up and back from Whistler - that way the driver can rubberneck for half of the drive. Just tremendous scenery, excellent roadway, and some breathtaking overlooks built into the side of the highway. A must see.
