“Poutine and fish tacos”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2013

Late lunch at this pub.
Beef poutine was enjoyed by friend.
Fish tacos with sweet potato fries were good. Corn tortillas were bit thick.
House wine suggested by positive server was well liked by my friend.
Lots of food options.

“Worth a visit, adults only :)”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013

We had not been here before and thought we would give it a try for a mid week birthday celebration directly after work. I was surprised at how busy it already was (good sign) for an odd ball day of the week. Great service, nice adult only atmosphere (pub), good food and reasonable prices. The birthhday boy was treated to a "on the house" dessert that was an extremely generous portion. If you are looking for a burger, I would recommend the Santa Fe Burger. Two people at our table ordered it and they said it was great, chicken penne was also really good. After our meal, the manager came to our table to ask how everything was. I think that this was the first time that this has happened to me in Red Deer !!!

“Amazing food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2013 via mobile

We have gone to cities a a few times now and each time the food has been amazing. My husband had the lamb the first time and last time had the bison steak which both were cooked perfectly. Only dish I have been disappointed ever by is the nachos. They could use some more flavouring atleast the ground beef anyways.bit pricey but so worth it just wish the drinks were a bit cheaper $9 for a cocktail is a bit much.

“Best in Class”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2013

Cities has something for everyone. The most important, a wide selection on the menu. I've been here numerous times and tried a little bit of everything. For appies, try the coconut shrimp, or spinach dip. The Steak Sandwich is the best one you'll find in Red Deer and is best paired with the amazing garlic mashed potatoes. The corn chowder soup is also to die for. A whole range of poutines and delicious unique burgers. Awesome pad thai, fish tacos, and butter chicken. They have different specials every day and have an affordable lunch menu.

Any beer you want, they've got it with over 60 different kinds. Fresh mint mojitos, and the iceberg long island iced tea is amazing. Did I mention an entire ceasar menu?

Its a great atmosphere inside, a mix of booths and chairs/tables. Its quite busy most nights and at lunch time so make a reservation for large parties as to not be disappointed. They have awesome live music in a whole range of genres.

Think twice about patronizing a bland, unexciting chain restaurant and try something uniquely local. I will be back time and time again.
